Horizon Community Bank has an opening for a full time Loan Operations Specialist in the Lake Havasu City branch.


Summary:
The Loan Operations Specialist prepares loan documentation for Consumer and Commercial loan requests, boards and funds loans, and supports all Consumer and Commercial loans in the portfolio.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Review all loan files submitted for documentation to ensure file is accurate and collateral is or will be perfected.
  • Preparation of loan documentation in LaserPro
  • Review of signed documents and boarding of loan in Jack Henry
  • Monitoring and set up of Tickler items to include distributing weekly reports
  • Maintenance of loans as requested
  • Review of daily balancing
  • Complex payment processing
  • Develop newly hired employees and mentor department employees
  • Boarding of Mortgage loans held for sale
  • Payoff inquires/demands
  • Closed loan processing
  • Researching loan questions from Loan Officers and customers
  • Answer phones and respond to inquiries
  • Update insurance in Jack Henry and file documentation
  • Tickler maintenance

Knowledge, Skills, and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years loan documentation experience
  • Knowledge of Bank loan policy
  • Computer knowledge
  • Good interaction, communication and organizational skills
