Universal Banker 1 - Full Time

The Universal Banker 1 is the entry level position at Horizon Community Bank. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months banking experience with a strong aptitude for customer service and relationship building. In this position the candidate will have strong cash handling and customer service experience and should be able to open basic new accounts within the first six months of employment. In addition, individuals in this position should be able to refer clients to their appropriate business partners for more advanced relationship development.

Duties:

  • Completes all teller transactions, customer inquiries and Cash Handling Duties

  • Maintains a safe working environment

  • Aids in daily operations of the banking center

  • After 6 months is able to open fundamental new accounts and services

  • Knowledge of: On-line banking, bill pay, product knowledge and basic referring skills.

  • Uncovers client needs and offers solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Comply With All Federal and State Banking Regulations

  • Insures all BSA and Compliance regulations are adhered to

  • Proven ability to Multi Task

  • Excels at Customer Service to Both Internal and External Clients

  • Must be able to walk around the bank to access file cabinets, office machinery and drive through teller window.

  • Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as; calculator, copy machine, and computer printers.

  • Must frequently convey detailed or important information, ideas or instructions accurately and promptly.

  • Must be able to hear normal conversations and exchange accurate information with customers.

SBA Loan Officer

We are an SBA preferred lender with a consistent credit box that is open to all types of 7a loans (business acquisition, start-ups, specialty properties, etc.). We’re looking for experienced 7a lenders in the Phoenix, Denver and Las Vegas markets. We have an advantage in speed to market on the front end and the ability to discuss credits with key decision makers very early in the process if necessary. A track record for solid production is key, but we’re willing to help someone take that next step under the right circumstances.
