Growing and successful community bank seeks a Construction Lender in Mohave County, Arizona.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred experience in residential construction lending in a financial institution or mortgage bank. An Officer level position is available for the right candidate.

Duties include working with mortgage lenders, home buyers and referral sources to risk manage the process for periodic draws to finance the completion of homes on time, lien free, and on budget so permanent financing can fall in place.

Responsibilities include underwriting builder risk, reviewing plans, specs & cost breakdown, and appraisals. Augment mortgage underwriting with relative commentary, insure funding is adequate and accounted for, process and/or approve draw requests, order inspections, coordinate and communicate with mortgage loan officers. Service and solicit builder and realtor referral business.
